Yogic Diet

Yoga is an ancient science. It has all along insisted on a nourishing but non-stimulant, vegetarian diet. Yogic diet satisfies three main conditions, it provides all essential nutrients to the body, it is vegetarian and it is pure and non-stimulant. Yoga becomes the destroyer of woes and can be accomplished only by him who is regulated and moderate in diet6 and recreation, regulated in performing actions and in regulated in sleeping and walking. There is no conflict between yoga and modern science as far as the principle of balanced diet is concerned. But yoga diet could exclude all those food items which are non-vegetarian and intoxicating, because according to yoga food is not for physical fitness alone, it also affects mental and spiritual state for a being. Teeths

The average person has two sets of teeth, one after the other. The first is the baby, milk or deciduous set. Even before birth teeth appear as tiny buds below the gums .They begin to erupt, or show above the gum from the age of a few months. By the age of about three all 20 first teeth have usually appeared. In each half (left and right) of each jaw (upper and lower) there are two incisors, one canine, and two molars. From about the age of six years, the first teeth start to fall out. These are replaced by the adult, second, or permanent set. First are usually the front incisors and the first molars at around seven to eight years. Last are the rear-most molars or wisdom teeth. They appear at the age of 18 to 20 years in some people, while in other they erupt at the age of 40 to 50years and sometimes they never appear.

Fasting...

Fasting is abstinence from all food and drink for a limited period of time to maintain or to improve health, or treat a specific illness. During fasting the stored food breaks down and comes into use and simultaneously the deposited in the body are burn out. Fasting is a curative tool in naturopathy which holds that all disease arise from a defective digestive system and depositions of toxins in the body due to faulty lifestyle. All fasting should be under the medical supervision. During fasting, apart from physical, mental and sensory rest, internal cleansing takes place and to help the process, the enema and colon therapy will be highly effective. In this process toxins get eliminated. Light techniques like yoga, brisk walk and gymnasium can be taken depending upon the condition of the patient. Fasting along with exercises detoxifies the entire system in that the accumulated toxins and putrefactions deposited for long due to wrong food habit get cleansed.

Breech Birth

At about 280 days after the baby’s inception, the mother starts to feel strong tightening pains called contractions, in her womb when the birth is near. These contractions become stronger and the neck of the cervix starts to open. As the contractions continues the baby’s head moves down and eventually emerges through the cervix and vagina. A breech birth is different from regular birth because the buttocks engage in the pelvis instead of the head. This makes delivery more complicated as the largest part, namely the head, is delivered last. A breech birth is encountered about once in every thirty deliveries. Because the head in such cases is the last part of the child to be delivered and because this part of the delivery is most difficult, the umbilical cord may be compressed while the after-coming head is being born, with the result the child may be deprived of oxygen.

Life Span Of Blood Cells

Hello friends....do you know the lifespan of red and white blood cells. Both white and red blood cells are formed in the bone marrow. Each red blood cell measures about 7.5 microns in diameter and it is shaped like a doughnut. Red blood cells contain haemoglobin, which gives them their red pigments. There are five to six million red blood cells per cubic mm of blood. The red cell only survives about 120 days and the damaged an old cell are removed by the spleen and liver. A white blood cell is not really white but almost transparent. It can change shape, push out folds and finger like projections and move along by oozing and crawling like an amoeba in a pond. These cells survive less than a week. Lymphocyte and stem cells are present inside the bone marrow in which white blood cells and red blood cells are also located.

Heart Attack

Your heart is powerful muscle muscle which pumps blood around the body. It is only the size of your fist and weighs less than a half a kilogram. Each and every day it pumps around 18000 litres of blood around your body, and yet you are not normally aware that it is even beating. Run quickly upstairs, though, and you will soon feel it thumping away inside your rib cage. A heart attack can occur when either both sides of the heart are unable to pump sufficient blood to meet the needs of our body. Other prominent causes of the heart attack are abnormally high blood pressure, coronary atherosclerosis and rheumatic heart disease. A person with left-sided heart failure experiences a shortness of breath after exertion, difficulty in breathing while lying down, spasms of breathlessness at night, and abnormally high blood pressure in the pulmonary veins. A person with right-sided failure experiences enlargement of the liver, accumulation of fluid in the legs.

Need Fillings...

Each tooth has two main parts. The tooth anchors it firmly in the gum, to withstand the tremendous pressures that are exerted when you bite and chew hard foods like nuts. The crown is the visible part above the gum. It is covered with whitish enamel, which is the hardest substance in the entire body. Under the enamel is a layer of dentine, which is not quite so hard, and absorbs shocks and knocks. In the middle of the tooth are blood vessels providing nourishments to the tooth parts and layers, and nerves to detect pressure and pain. Regular visits to the dentist are important to healthy teeth. If you don’t look after your teeth they may go bad or decay.
